Treatment at MindClear Integrative Psychotherapy begins with a brief phone consultation to evaluate your needs and make sure that we might be able to meet those needs. We then offer a comprehensive initial evaluation with one of our expert clinicians and collaborate on treatment planning.
Individual psychotherapy sessions are rooted in a guiding principle of compassion and acceptance. Too often we’ve been told that we aren’t good enough, our self-worth is contingent on success, or that we are somehow defective if not always happy. Our goal is to help individuals develop skills to improve both their relationships with others as well as with the self.
We aim to increase self-confidence, find ways to cope with anxiety and distress, heal from early dysfunctional family dynamics or trauma, become mindful of destructive patterns, and to find meaning and purpose in life. Sessions are based in a relational psychodynamic framework, incorporating elements of CBT, DBT, Gestalt, and family systems approaches as needed.
Individual psychotherapy can help with a wide variety of issues, including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Trauma
- Work stress
- Self-confidence and acceptance
- Relationship concerns
- Anger
- Grief and loss
- Cultural identity
- Life transitions
- Self-harm behaviors
- Suicidal thoughts
- Dissociation
We will work together to formulate a collaborative treatment plan and goals best suited to your individual needs. Contact us for a free consultation!
