Welcome Dr. Daniel Solti and Sophie Bailard to the MindClear Team!

We’re excited to welcome two new trauma therapists to the MindClear team: Dr. Daniel Solti and Sophie Bailard, LMSW, who have each joined our practice within the past month. Both bring unique skills, perspectives, and experiences to our team, along with a shared commitment to deepening their expertise in trauma treatment and relational therapy.
At MindClear, we believe that thoughtful collaboration, ongoing learning, and strong clinical support are essential to providing compassionate, effective care to the greater NYC area. Our clinicians work closely together, drawing on one another’s expertise to support both their professional development and the needs of our clients. Dr. Solti and Sophie practice under the general supervision of Dr. Noël Hunter, with Sophie also receiving additional supervision from Jenna D’Anna, LCSW. This collaborative approach helps ensure that clients benefit from a connected team of clinicians who are committed to thoughtful, individualized care.
Meet Dr. Daniel Solti: Trauma Therapy, Attachment, and Relational Healing

Dr. Daniel Solti joins MindClear from Florida, where he completed his doctoral degree at Nova Southeastern University and received clinical training across college counseling, community mental health, and private practice settings. His doctoral thesis explored EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and the treatment of chronic depression, building on his longstanding interest in trauma treatment and supporting survivors of sexual abuse.
Dr. Solti approaches therapy with a deep appreciation for the ways our experiences, relationships, and circumstances shape who we are. In keeping with MindClear’s philosophy, he seeks to understand people within the context of their lives rather than reducing their struggles to diagnoses or viewing them as problems to be fixed. His work is grounded in the belief that understanding a person’s experiences and the relationships that have shaped them is an important part of meaningful therapeutic work.
His clinical interests include trauma, attachment-related difficulties, and the ways early and significant relationships can influence emotional well-being, interpersonal patterns, and the therapeutic relationship itself. Through his developing expertise in relational psychodynamic therapy, Dr. Solti is particularly interested in exploring how relational experiences shape the ways people understand themselves, connect with others, and navigate life’s challenges.
Dr. Solti also brings experience in crisis intervention from his work on a suicide hotline, where he learned the importance of remaining steady, attentive, and present with people during some of their most difficult moments. His previous clinical supervisors have recognized his compassion, his ability to engage with complex and diverse concerns, and his sensitivity to the experiences of women who have been harmed in past relationships with men.
Dr. Solti offers therapy in both English and Spanish, allowing him to work with clients in the language in which they feel most comfortable expressing themselves. He practices at MindClear under the general supervision of Dr. Noël Hunter as he continues to deepen his expertise in trauma treatment and relational psychotherapy.
He is currently running a Complex Trauma Support Group on Thursdays from 6-715p
Outside of the office, Dr. Solti enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, going to the gym, and drawing on his longstanding interest in martial arts.
Meet Sophie Bailard, LMSW: Childhood Trauma, Dissociation, and Mind-Body Healing
Sophie Bailard, LMSW, joins MindClear from Boston, where she earned her Master of Social Work degree from Boston University. During her clinical internship with Boston Medical Center’s Community Violence Response Team, she provided therapy, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation to survivors of violence and their families across inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth settings. Her experience supporting individuals and families navigating the effects of violence informs her interest in understanding trauma within the broader context of a person’s life, relationships, and lived experiences.
Sophie is particularly interested in the relationship between trauma and the body, including how complex trauma and dissociation can affect a person’s sense of connection to themselves and their physical experiences. The intersections of trauma, chronic pain, and ongoing health conditions, and how these experiences can shape emotional well-being, relationships, and daily life are a core focus of her work.
She also has a special interest in supporting people navigating social isolation and loneliness, which can feel especially pronounced in a world increasingly shaped by screens and artificial intelligence. With her background in technology, she welcomes conversations about how AI is changing the way we relate to each other and ourselves, and the existential questions it can raise about identity, purpose, and what it means to be human.
MindClear’s commitment to long-term, relational, and non-pathologizing therapy strongly resonated with Sophie. She approaches psychological distress through a lens that considers the full context of a person’s experiences, rather than viewing their struggles solely as individual deficits or symptoms. She is drawn to integrative psychodynamic work with complex trauma and to the ways that a collaborative therapeutic relationship can support deeper understanding, connection, and change.

Sophie is a member of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD), where she serves on the Annual Conference Committee, reflecting her ongoing engagement with professional learning in the field of trauma and dissociation. She has also been involved in research, including recent work with the Boston University Center for Innovation in Social Work & Health (CISWH). At MindClear, she practices under the general supervision of Dr. Noël Hunter and receives additional individual supervision from Jenna D’Anna, LCSW, as she continues to develop her work as a trauma-focused, relational therapist.
Outside of her clinical work, Sophie loves an adventure. She recently backpacked through New Zealand and Thailand, hiking, exploring, enjoying nature, and eating phenomenal street food. Having moved from Boston, Sophie is excited to experience the food scene of New York. Before deciding to become a therapist, Sophie studied computer science, and she’s still a bit of a tech nerd at heart. (Especially when it comes to VR!) She also stays active with yoga, volleyball, and martial arts.
Sophie is currently accepting new clients and offers affordable therapy options for individuals in need.
Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and finding the right fit matters. At MindClear, our collaborative clinical model allows clinicians to draw on shared perspectives, ongoing supervision, and a common commitment to relational, trauma-informed care while developing an approach tailored to each client. Dr. Solti and Sophie bring their own backgrounds and clinical interests to the practice, and both are supported by a team committed to thoughtful, individualized treatment.
